The annual "Polak Inwestor" (Pole Investor) survey is now underway. It is a unique initiative that allows you to take a closer look at your finances and see how others approach them. The survey is open to everyone—both those who invest and those who do not, but wish to secure their financial future.
"Polak Inwestor" is the fifth edition of the annual survey, culminating in a report of the same name. The study aims to enable its participants to reflect on their personal finances, regardless of whether they invest or not. The survey questionnaire is designed to guide each participant through relevant topics based on their previous experiences with personal finance.
While filling out the survey, participants can reflect on their financial security, their skills in finance and investing, the emotional aspects of financial decisions, and the barriers that need to be addressed.
— "'Polak Inwestor' is an initiative that we strive to improve year after year, working on both the analytical side of the research process and on providing additional perks and gifts for participants. This year's participants will receive the report before its official premiere, gifts and discounts from our partners, as well as supplementary educational materials to help with managing their daily finances," comments Izabela Kozakiewicz-Frańczak, the Founder of Polak Inwestor.
The insights from the reports are used to develop educational activities about finance and investing continuously. Findings from previous editions have influenced several programs and conferences, including: "Women Invest" - an educational initiative on finance and investing aimed at women; "Trampki na giełdzie" (Sneakers on the Stock Exchange) - financial education activities for children, teenagers, students, parents, and teachers; "Czytam Inwestuję" (I Read, I Invest) - an initiative supported by the PWN publishing house, gathering valuable books for everyone, selected and recommended by finance professionals; "Invest Cuffs" - one of Europe's largest conferences on finance and investing; and a range of programs on Business Television (Telewizja Biznesowa).
The Polak Inwestor reports also serve as a knowledge base for numerous discussions at industry conferences and for publications and analyses in the media.
The Knowledge Partner for the survey and report is the Cracow University of Economics. The report will feature in-depth interpretations and analyses prepared by the team from the Department of Economic Theory, coordinated by Dr. hab. Rafał Morawczyński, a professor at the Cracow University of Economics (UEK), as well as numerous commentaries from representatives of financial institutions, leading capital market experts, the academic community, and the media.
The Polak Inwestor 2025 report will be released in November. It will be accompanied by a supplement titled “Polish Women and Their Investments 2025,” which will detail the differences in approaches to finance and investing between women and men, and what distinguishes female investors from women who have not yet started on their investment path.
— "The main report itself is a wealth of knowledge about the approach to investing and, more broadly, to finance in Poland. From the report, we will learn, among other things, what characterizes millionaire investors and what distinguishes them from investors who are not millionaires. We will explore how women think about investing and how their perspectives differ from those of men in this area. We will also learn about the character traits and social characteristics of each of the investing and non-investing groups. We prepare our reports with great care and attention to detail, seeking interesting conclusions from the abundance of data and enjoying the fact that we can share these findings with all our readers. That is why every voice, every participant in the survey is so important, because thanks to this, year after year, we can create a wonderful publication that is helpful both for institutions in creating better solutions and for individuals on their path to financial security," adds Izabela Kozakiewicz-Frańczak.
