Join a free, open conference on the Polish economy and investment trends, featuring the premiere of a landmark report on investor readiness.
Economic education should be accessible to everyone, and the best kind comes from practitioners. For this reason, the leading financial portal Bankier.pl and the Wrocław University of Economics and Business once again invite you to the Finance Forum, which will take place on October 24th in Wrocław. The event will also feature the premiere of the "Polish Investment Readiness Barometer" report—the first study in Poland diagnosing the public's readiness to invest. The event is open to all who wish to deepen their knowledge, grow their savings, and gain a better understanding of the complexity of modern markets.
The all-day Bankier.pl Finance Forum, hosted at the university, will include a series of debates led by Poland's top analysts, economists, and representatives of leading institutions and companies, including those listed on the stock exchange. A true journey through the most important economic challenges and trends awaits the attendees.
The meeting will kick off with the premiere of the "Polish Investment Readiness Barometer" report. The project was carried out by Bankier.pl and Puls Biznesu in collaboration with the research agency Maison&Partners and Prof. Dominika Maison, an expert in consumer research, particularly in finance. The Barometer examines not only Poles' knowledge of investment products but also the emotions accompanying financial decisions and their practical experience in this area.
Guests will also have the opportunity to listen to the CEO's Debate, where market leaders will attempt to answer the question: Where is the Polish economy headed? The agenda also includes a look into the future of investments—both in strategic commodities like lithium, copper, gold, and silver, and in new financial instruments, featuring a clash between ETFs and active funds. The organizers have also ensured a fresh perspective: youth and students will share their investment experiences and preferences, while renowned analysts and economists will present their scenarios for the market, currencies, and the Polish złoty in the "Bankier's Stars' Forecasts" segment.
The Forum will also be a space for discussing why it's worth diversifying portfolios with foreign investments and how to do it, as well as how to prepare for the future—both in the context of retirement savings and the challenges posed by the digital revolution, including AI, crypto, and disinformation.
As an additional attraction, organizers have arranged for the opportunity to mint a commemorative coin for Bankier.pl's 25th anniversary.
"This year, Bankier.pl celebrates its anniversary with the motto: 'For 25 years, millions of informed decisions have had one source.' This is our mission, and events like the Finance Forum in Wrocław are a natural extension of it. We want to create a space for economic education, conversation, and the exchange of experiences and forecasts that have a real impact on the investment future of each of us, and consequently, the entire economy. We invite students and anyone interested in finance to our free event," says Andrzej Stec, Editor-in-Chief of Bankier.pl.
"I believe that the true strength of an economy lies not only in capital and resources but, above all, in the level of knowledge of its citizens. That is why I am delighted that the Wrocław University of Economics and Business can host the Bankier.pl Finance Forum—an event that emphasizes that an investment in financial education is just as crucial as any other market investment," concludes Prof. Dr. hab. Czesław Zając, Rector of the Wrocław University of Economics and Business.
This is the second edition of the Finance Forum organized by Bankier.pl in cooperation with the Wrocław University of Economics and Business. The event will begin at 9.00 am with a welcome from Rector Czesław Zając and Editor-in-Chief Andrzej Stec.
