Spotlight on Our Guest of Honor:
Susan Spinner, CFA, has been at the helm as the Managing Director of CFA Society Germany since June 2011 and became a Board Member in April 2018. Representing over 2,800 members, CFA Society Germany is the premier association for financial analysts, investment managers, and institutional investors in the country. Susan has an illustrious career spanning nearly 25 years in the investment sector, specializing in capital markets, portfolio management, and securities analysis. She has worked for renowned financial institutions in Germany and held a significant role at a major bank in Chicago, USA, last serving as the Director of Global Financial Products. Before assuming the full-time leadership at CFA Society Germany in 2011, Susan was a pivotal founding member of the organization since 2000 and served as its Vice President from 2008. A sought-after speaker, Susan frequently lectures on subjects like capital market ethics and financial analysis. She also contributes academically, teaching the "Ethics in Finance" module for the Master of Science in Finance program at Goethe Business School, University of Frankfurt.
