Meet our experts:

Łukasz Ziemba, CFA (Deloitte)
Łukasz is a Manager in the Valuation and modeling practice in Deloitte, where he is responsible for company and intangible assets valuations as well as financial modeling. Łukasz is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Karol Ochojski, CFA
Karol is a Manager in the Financial Advisory team at Deloitte. In his work, he is focused on the areas of financial modeling and business valuation. Karol has more than five years of experience in financial consulting.

Krzysztof Jajuga, President, the Board of Directors, CFA Society Poland
Professor of Economics, a lecturer at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, and also at foreign universities (including Jiao Tong University in Shanghai). In his scientific and research work, he focuses on finance and statistics as well as econometrics. Head of the Department of Financial Investment and Risk Management, and director of the Institute of Financial Management at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business. He is a Chairman of the Statistics and Econometrics Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Member of the presidium of the Committee on Finance of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is also a member of the Central Commission for Degrees and Titles and President of the Board of Directors at CFA Society Poland. He cooperates with numerous financial institutions and companies. He has served as a member of the Scientific Council of the National Bank of Poland and as a member of the Council of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Bartosz Pawłowski, CFA, Vice President, the Board of Directors, CFA Society Poland
Bartosz Pawłowski, CFA is Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at mTFI (mBank Group). In his work, he focuses on the optimal construction of globally diversified investment portfolios. In 2016—20 he was Chief Investment Officer of mBank Private Banking, where he oversaw asset management and investment advisory. Previously he spent 10 years in London, initially as Global Head of Emerging Markets Strategy at BNP Paribas and then as a Portfolio Manager at Finisterre Capital, an EM-oriented macro hedge fund. Bartosz holds an M.A. in Economics from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and is a CFA charterholder. He has also completed a High-Performance Leadership course at IMD in Lausanne. He has been a board member of CFA Society Poland since 2020 focusing on networking projects, ESG/DEI, learning courses, and market research. Finally, Bartosz has been a CFA Institute Research Challenge grader for several years and has participated in multiple panel discussions representing the Society.

Maciej Kowalczyk, CFA, Member, CFA Society Poland
Specialist in fintech, asset management, market risk management, data processing, and automation in financial institutions. He gained experience working at the Royal Bank of Scotland (derivatives analysis), Accenture (risk management, banking systems implementation), and fintech Turbine Analytics (co-creator of asset management and risk analytics systems for investment funds). He is currently working with fintech, data analytics, and AI/ML startups.
